Pacific Ridge Exploration (PEX.V) has a number of properties in the South Klondike near Underworld Resources’ Whitegold Project where significant thicknesses of gold mineralization were discovered, including 3.39 g/t gold over 104.0 meters.

The company’s Mariposa claims cover a 14 kilometre length of a geological setting similar to the Whitegold style of gold mineralization. The streams draining the property are known to contain placer gold, and the placer miners recovery of "hackly" gold nuggets suggests the presence of nearby lode gold sources. Pacific Ridge ran geochemical surveys at the Mariposa property this fall to further define existing gold anomalies in preparation for trenching and drilling programs next summer. Similarly, geochemical sampling, magnetometer surveys, and geological mapping on the Goldcap, Polar-Stewart, Eureka and Moose properties were conducted to refine trenching and drill targets.
