The shares were issued in satisfaction of free share awards made to eligible participants under the Oxford Nanopore Technologies plc Share Incentive Plan (the \"SIP\"), including those Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility of the Company (each a \"PDMR\") outlined below. The shares rank equally with existing issued ordinary shares.\n Eligible employees have been granted 633 free shares each, representing approximately £3,600 which is the maximum amount permitted under the relevant legislation.
