[{"type":"text","content":"\n OMG PLC\n10 May 2007\n\n10 May 2007\n\n OMG plc\n\n Contract Wins\n\n Two contract wins and a contract extension for Geospatial Vision\n\n\nOMG plc, Oxford Metrics Group (LSE: OMG), ('OMG' or 'the Group') the technology\ngroup providing image understanding products for the entertainment, defence,\nlife science and engineering industries, is pleased to announce the signing of\ntwo contracts within its Geospatial Vision division.\n\n\nGeospatial Vision was established as part of OMG's strategy of expansion through\nleveraging existing technology in new vertical markets and focuses on\nstreet-level geospatial imagery, providing new technologies for the management\nand maintenance of key national infrastructures.\n\n\nThe asset survey agreements are with Oxfordshire County Council and Atkins, the\nlargest multidisciplinary consultancy in Europe, which designs and enables the\ndelivery of complex capital programmes for clients in the public and private\nsectors across the globe. Under these agreements, OMG will be using its vehicle\nto complete in-depth highway surveys, which will involve capturing street-level\nvideo and automatically extracting asset data relating to road markings and\nsigns.\n\n\nThe Group also announces a second order from one of its existing local authority\ncustomers, Cumbria County Council.\n\n\nNick Bolton, Chief Executive of OMG plc, commented,\n\n\n'We are delighted to announce the latest contract wins within our recently\nestablished division, Geospatial Vision.
