She will join the Board from 4 February 2016 with a view to succeeding Jock Lennox as Chairman of the Audit & Risk Committee in due course.\n \nMary is currently Group FD of Ultra Electronics Holdings PLC, a FTSE 250 company which operates in the defence and aerospace sector. She is shortly to leave Ultra Electronics to take up the role of CFO at Lloyd's Register, a privately owned company. Mary has a broad range of experience across a variety of sectors having held senior financial positions with a number of major public and private companies including QinetiQ. Mary graduated from Oxford University with an MA in Physics and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. \n \nNigel Keen, Chairman, said:-\n\"We are delighted to welcome Mary to the Oxford Instruments Board as a Non-Executive Director.
