[{"type":"text","content":"\n Ormonde Mining PLC\n19 February 2007\n\n19 February 2007\n\n\n\n Ormonde Mining plc\n\n\n\n La Zarza drilling continues to intersect high-grade gold & silver\n\n\n\nDUBLIN & LONDON: 19 February 2007 - Ormonde Mining plc (\"Ormonde\" or \"the\nCompany\") reports the latest results from its infill drilling programme at La\nZarza.\n\n\n\n\n\nMAIN POINTS\n\n\n\n • New drilling results, as listed below in the table, comprise significant\n intersections of the three zones of mineralization being evaluated: Copper\n Silicatado, Gold Silicatado and Zinc Massive Sulphide\n\n\n\n • Intersections include high-grade gold intervals of 9.0 metres grading 11.2\n grams per tonne (\"g/t\") gold and 187 g/t silver, and 11.1 metres grading 5.0\n g/t gold and 71 g/t silver\n\n\n\n • Following receipt of the remaining assays, a revised resource estimation\n will be carried out as part of the Bankable Feasibility Study currently\n underway on the project\n\n\n\n\n\nKerr Anderson, Managing Director, said today,\n\n\n\n\"The infill drilling programme continues to return positive assay intersections\nin line with our earlier drilling results and will enable an updated resource\nestimation to commence upon receipt of the outstanding assay results. Our final\n4,000 metre drilling programme, focussed on the zinc-rich massive sulphide\ndeposit, is due to start shortly.\"\n\n\n\n\n\nOrmonde recently engaged two leading international engineering firms, Aker\nKvaerner Engineering Services Ltd, UK and AMC Consultants, to carry out the\nprocess plant engineering, infrastructure design and the underground mining\ndesign for the La Zarza Bankable Feasibility Study.\n\n\n\n\n\nDRILLING RESULTS\n\n\n\nOrmonde's Phase 3 drilling has tested the three zones of mineralization being\nevaluated at La Zarza at different parts of the deposit.
