He previously spent 13 years as Managing Director and Project Manager of the Spanish-based company that commercialised the Barruecopardo Tungsten mine in Western Spain, in which Ormonde held a 30% stake which was sold for €6 million in 2020.\n \nAs Ormonde's Technical Advisor, Mr Nicol has been centrally involved in identifying TRU Precious Metals Corp. (TSXV: TRU, OTCQB: TRUIF) (\"TRU\") and Peak Nickel Ltd (\"PNL\") as investment opportunities for Ormonde. On 8 August 2024, it was announced that Mr Nicol had been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of TRU (which is 36.2%-owned and controlled by Ormonde) with responsibility for overseeing the multi-year, partner-funded gold and copper focused exploration programme at the Golden Rose Project in Newfoundland pursuant to the earn-in agreement with Eldorado Gold Corporation (TSX:ELD)(NYSE:EGO) (\"Eldorado\") announced by TRU on 30 July 2024.  \n \nBrian Timmons, Executive Chair of Ormonde, commented:\n \n\"On behalf of the Board, I would like to welcome Steve as a Non-Executive Director.
