(OTC/QB: OOIL), \n a leading provider of water treatment solutions, today announced that \n Minnesota-based public utility, Xcel Energy (NYSE:XEL), awarded the \n company’s subsidiary, Progressive \n Water Treatment Inc. (PWT) a large-scale contract for a boiler \n feedwater treatment system. The contract totals nearly two million \n dollars and uniquely utilizes all Dow Chemical (NYSE:DOW) products, \n including Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO) and \n Electrodeionization (EDI) processes.\n \n \n “We’ve found that our happy customers are also repeat customers. Xcel \n Energy is a longtime client of Progressive Water Treatment,” said Marc \n Stevens, PWT’s President. “This new contract is for one of Xcel’s power \n plants in Texas. The nearly $2 million project involves treating a site \n groundwater source for high pressure boiler feed make-up. The primary \n processes that will be used to treat the ground water are UF, RO and \n EDI, all sourced from Dow Chemical.”\n \n \n Dow Chemical’s Senior Account Manager, Tom McCandless, stated, “Dow and \n Progressive Water Treatment have partnered to develop several treatment \n systems over the past 12 years. PWT was the first original equipment \n manufacturer (OEM) in North America to design and build a system using \n 100 percent Dow UF, RO and EDI products.
