Orex Announces Private Placement

VANCOUVER, Jan. 15, 2015 /CNW/ - Orex Minerals Inc. – (TSX-V: REX) ("Orex" or the "Company") announces a non-brokered private placement offering of 4,800,000 common shares of the Company at a price of $0.25 per share for gross proceeds of $1,200,000 (the "Private Placement"). Orex intends to use the net proceeds of the Private Placement for continued exploration and development of its Los Crestones Property located in Sinaloa, Mexico and for general corporate and working capital purposes.

The Private Placement is scheduled to close on or about January 19, 2015. The closing of the Private Placement is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. All securities issued pursuant to the Private Placement will be subject to a four month and one day hold period from the date of closing of the Private Placement.
