[{"type":"text","content":"\n Orca Interactive Ltd\n29 August 2007\n\n\n\n Orca Interactive Ltd\n\n Results for the six months ended 30 June 2007\n\n\n\nRa'anana, Israel, 29 August 2007 - Orca Interactive Ltd ('Orca'), a global\nleader in the IPTV middleware market, announces its results for the six months\nended 30 June 2007.\n\n\nFinancial Highlights:\n\n • Revenues of $3.2m (H1 2006: $0.9m)\n • Gross profit margin of 72% (H1 2006: 81%)\n • Net loss of $2.1m (H1 2006: $3.4m)\n • $0.06 loss per share (H1 2006: $0.1 loss per share)\n • Strong net cash position with $14.6m at period end\n • Order book at $4.9m\n\n\nOperational Highlights:\n\n • New deployments with On Telecoms in Greece, Sibir Telecom in Russia,\n Lattelecom in Latvia and WT Services in the US\n • US office opening announced after the period end\n • Agreement signed with Blockbuster Israel to deploy first to market\n integrated IPTV and Web TV offering\n\n\nHaggai Barel, Chief Executive Officer of Orca, said: 'Following a difficult\nyear in 2006, where we saw our revenue impacted by sector consolidation, we have\nseen a positive return to momentum in the first half of 2007. We have seen a\nclear increase in new orders, especially in the EMEA region which, as the most\nadvanced market, has been the focus for our sales and marketing investment over\nthe past 18 months.\n\nAs in previous years, the timing of revenues will continue to be difficult to\npredict.
