(Nasdaq/TASE: ORMP), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company focused on the development of oral drug delivery platforms, today announced that the European Patent Office has granted the Company the patent titled \"Methods and Compositions for Treating NAFLD, Hepatic Steatosis, and Sequelae Thereof.\" This patent was previously granted to Oramed in the U.S. and is pending in several other major markets.\nOramed recently announced 100% enrollment in its Phase 2 trial which is assessing the safety and potential efficacy of its oral insulin ORMD-0801 in type 2 diabetes patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH).
