(NASDAQ: “OCFC”), (“OceanFirst”), the holding company for OceanFirst Bank N.A., and Flushing Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: “FFIC”) (“Flushing”), the holding company for Flushing Bank, today announced entry into a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which the companies will combine in an all-stock merger transaction. Upon completion of the Flushing merger, Flushing Bank will merge into OceanFirst Bank, with OceanFirst Bank surviving the bank merger.
