He succeeds John Beaumont who, as planned, is to step down as Finance Director of the Group. The handover of roles will occur on Wednesday 31 May 2023.\nMr Ganchev graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Mathematics. He qualified as a chartered accountant and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Risk Assurance. Following this, he joined Octopus Investments, where he led and executed strategic and operational initiatives to grow Octopus Ventures, as well as worked in the Octopus Choice, Octopus Cash and Labs divisions as Head of Risk & Compliance. \nMr. Ganchev has no interest in the issued share capital of the company.\nThere is no further information regarding Galin Ganchev that is required to be disclosed pursuant to Rule 4.9 of the AQSE Growth Market Access Rulebook.\nOberon CEO Simon McGivern said:\n\"I would like to say a huge thank you to John Beaumont for his time at Oberon, where he has helped the firm since start up and has been instrumental in helping grow the business to where it is today.
