(TSX-V: VRB) announces\nthe appointment of Brian Beck as Vice President Sales and Marketing.\n\n\nMr. Beck has over 30 years experience in the electrical industry in\nEurope and North America and has been actively involved in the restructuring\nof electricity supply on both continents. Most recently Mr Beck was General\nManager of Caterpillar Energy Solutions where he had responsibility for\ninitiatives in power quality and distributed generation. He also gained\nextensive management experience with Holec, a major European electrical\nengineering manufacturer, where he became CEO of its U.K. subsidiaries.\n\n\n\"I am very pleased to announce the addition of Brian to the VRB Power\nManagement Team,\" said Tim Hennessy, Chairman and CEO of VRB Power. \"Brian has\na wealth of experience and contacts across the electricity industry in both\nEurope and USA and this together with his in-depth knowledge of power quality\nand distributed generation will greatly assist the Company as we look to\npenetrate our chosen markets.\"\n\n\n\"During 2006 we focussed our sales and marketing efforts on those markets\nwhere, at current pricing levels, our products provide a strong value\nproposition or solve major technical and other issues on a cost effective\nbasis and we have developed a network of agents and distribution partners\naccordingly.
