Neenah Paper Pulp Mills Receive SFI Certification

ALPHARETTA, Ga., May 19 /CNW/ -- Neenah Paper (NYSE: NP)
today announced that its woodlands operations in both Ontario and in Nova
Scotia, Canada have earned certification from the Sustainable Forestry
Initiative(R) (SFI) program, an international program dedicated to sustainable
forestry practices. SFI(R) certification, based upon the results of an
independent, third-party audit, confirms that Neenah Paper's forests are being
managed in a manner that demonstrates a clear commitment to the environmental,
social, and economic attributes associated with sustainable forest management.
"Obtaining SFI(R) certification is another important step in transforming
our pulp operations into competitive suppliers of market pulp with products
that meet the needs of customers. It also demonstrates to the public, our
customers and our employees, Neenah Paper's respect for the environment and
