[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTORONTO, July 3 /CNW/ - Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations\nannounces the following index changes:\n\n\n- The unitholders of Crescent Energy Trust (TSX:CPG.UN) have approved\n the conversion of the company to a corporate structure via a reverse\n takeover. The units will be exchanged on a 1-for-1 basis for Crescent\n Point Energy Corp. (TSX:CPG). As a result of the conversion, Crescent\n Energy Trust will be removed from the S&P/TSX Income Trust and Capped\n Energy Trust Indices. Crescent Point Energy Corp. will be added to\n the S&P/TSX Equity, Capped Equity and Equity Completion Indices. The\n conversion is effective after the close of Monday, July 6, 2009. The\n name and ticker change, with no change in capitalization, will be\n effective in the S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX\n Completion and the S&P/TSX Capped Energy indices.\n\n- The shareholders of NOVA Chemicals Corporation (TSX:NCX) have\n accepted the $US6.00 cash per share offer from International\n Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC). NOVA will be removed from the\n S&P/TSX Composite and Capped Composite, the S&P/TSX Completion and\n Equity Completion, the S&P/TSX Equity and Capped Equity and the\n S&P/TSX Capped Materials Indices.
