[{"type":"text","content":" CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--\nNorthern Trust Asset Management (NTAM), a leading global investment management firm with $1.3 trillion in assets under management as of September 30, 2024, announced a series of appointments in the global fixed income team to further strengthen NTAM’s credit investing and fundamental research capabilities.\n\n\nKevin Gaydos has joined NTAM as Head of Credit Research. He leads a team of investment analysts focused on the entire capital structure, with a focus on investment grade issuers and high yield issuers. Most recently, Gaydos was Co-Head of Credit Research at Aviva Investors. Previously he held a number of analyst roles at Principal Global Investors. Gaydos holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Notre Dame.\n\n\nAdditionally, NTAM has grown the global fixed income team with a series of hires who contribute to credit investing, portfolio management, and research expertise:\n\n\n\nSau Mui, CFA, Senior High Yield Portfolio Manager – Mui manages high yield and complex bond portfolio strategies across client segments. Most recently, she was a senior high yield portfolio manager at Aviva Investors. Mui has 13 years of fixed income investing experience, with prior roles at PPM America, Harris Associates and Putnam Investments. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.\n\n\n\nJeff Jones, Senior High Yield Trader – Jones joins the fixed income team and will be responsible for trading various active, passive, and systematic high yield strategies. Most recently, he was Head of Trading for North America and Senior High Yield Trader at Aviva Investors. Jones has more than 20 years of trading and portfolio management experience, with prior roles at Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs.\n\n\n\nMelinda Lans-Kautz, Senior Credit Research Analyst – Lans-Kautz analyzes and evaluates investment grade and high yield corporate issuers. Previously, she was a senior credit analyst at Aviva Investors. Lans-Kautz has more than 30 years of analyst experience, with prior roles at UBS Global Asset Management and PPM America. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.\n\n\n\nAdán Jiménez, Credit Research Analyst – Jiménez analyzes and evaluates investment grade and high yield corporate issuers.
