(\"Northcliff\") (TSX: NCF) reports on news today that the Province of New Brunswick and New Brunswick's six Maliseet First Nations have entered into an accommodation agreement concerning the development of the Sisson Tungsten-Molybdenum Project (\"Sisson Project\" or the \"Project\").\n\nAccording to the government release, \"The provincial government and First Nations have jointly submitted the agreement to the Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency. The agreement will become part of the agency's review, including its \"significant effects\" determination of how issues have been addressed and mitigated. The provincial government expects this should result in a decision on federal environmental approval within months.\"\n\nNorthcliff President & CEO Chris Zahovskis said \"The Sisson Partnership is pleased that the Maliseet First Nations and the province have reached agreement regarding accommodation. Finalizing these agreements is a big step in having the Sisson Mine project move forward.\" \n\nThe Environmental Impact Assessment Report (the \"EIA Report\") for the Sisson Project was submitted to Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency (\"CEAA\") and the New Brunswick Department of Environment and Local Government in July 2013. The Company received provincial EIA Report approval on December 3, 2015. As described above, the federal decision from CEAA is pending.
