("the\nCompany") (TSX: NOM, BVL: NOM) today announced additional results (Table 1\nbelow) from the ongoing Phase III drill program at the Constancia\ncopper-molybdenum-silver porphyry project in southern Peru.\n\n\nNorsemont currently has six drill rigs at the Constancia site and has\ncompleted more than 14,800 meters of drilling since the last release of drill\nresults on December 10, 2007. Since the last resource estimate by Snowden and\nAssociates disclosed on March 29, 2007, the majority of the drilling has been\ninfill drilling. More recently, Norsemont has undertaken extensive definition\ndrilling to establish the limits and peripheries of the main zones of\nmineralisation. Some of this drilling has been in areas of either lower grade\nor narrower intercepts, which has to be completed for the pit optimisation\nwork in ongoing engineering studies. Consequently, only the highlights have\nbeen tabled in this release with the full results (together with location map)\navailable on the Company's website (www.norsemont.com).\n\n\nCommenting on the results, Norsemont's President and Chief Operating\nOfficer Bob Baxter said: "Our Constancia drilling program continues to return\nexcellent results in the mineralised zones. The definition drilling is also\nproviding information essential for our continuing engineering studies. As the\ninfill and definition drilling at the Constancia and San Jose zones is\ncompleted, Norsemont will commence drilling at newly discovered anomalies in\nthe immediate vicinity."\n\n\nThe drilling program and geological studies at the Constancia project are\nreviewed and the results are approved by Leonardo Diaz (MAusIMM), Norsemont's\nQualified Person under NI 43-101. Core samples are cut with a diamond saw,\nwith one-half of the core placed in sealed bags and shipped to ALS Chemex\nAssay Labs in Lima, Peru. The program includes an extensive quality control\nprogram for assaying, which includes the systematic use of standards, blanks,\nand field duplicat...
