He is a licensed geologist in the USA and a member of AusIMM. He has over 15 years experience in exploration and mining.\nMr. Mears has served on the board of a number of mining and exploration companies, including Industrial Minerals Corp., an Australian listed company that is building the Coos Bay Heavy Sands project in Oregon, Nevada Star Resource Corp. (now Pure Nickel Inc.) and Azteca Gold Corp.
