The company has received approval on a Class C permit,\nand has negotiated and secured new agreements with the two villages and\nprivate landowner who own the property rights.\nIn January, the company also engaged independent geologist James A.\nMcCrea, P.Geo. (an independent qualified person as defined by NI 43-101) to\nprepare the resource estimate for Constancia. These results are expected\nimminently. Upon receipt of the resource estimate, the company will\nimmediately commence a 20,000 meter, two-phase drilling program to infill, and\nexpand the known extent of mineralization at the Constancia and San Jose\nzones, and to explore other prospective areas of the Constancia Property.\n'We have been working hard over the last quarter to achieve many\ncorporate goals in order to move Constancia forward and grow Norsemont. Tom\nHenrickson (Chief Geologist) is onsite to supervise the commencement of the\nprogram.\nThe 2006 drilling program and geological studies at the Constancia\nproject under the supervision of Dr. Thomas A. Henricksen, P.Geo. Norsemont's\nQualified Person as defined by NI 43-101. Core samples will be cut with a\ndiamond saw, with one-half of the core placed in sealed bags, and shipped to\nALS Chemex Assay Labs in Lima, Peru. The program will include an extensive\nquality control program for assaying with the systematic use of standards,\nblanks, and field duplicate samples.
