These funds\ndirectly support Nord’s development of an integrated domestic supply\nchain for critical metals.\n \n\n\n\n “The Critical Mineral Processing Fund and First\nNations Fund provide the catalyst we’ve been waiting for,” said\nFrank J. The new\nprovincial Recovery Permit, launching in July 2025, will streamline\nresource companies’ ability to produce critical metals from legacy\ntailings ponds and waste rock piles.\n \n\n\n\n Nord currently operates a high-grade silver processing\nplant capable of milling ore to produce silver doré bars, with an\nannual capacity of 3 million ounces of silver.
