With\nthe inversion, he started in the 6th position but as soon as the\ngreen flag dropped in the Main, Brooks started making passes working his way up\nto 2nd place by lap 6. It took just a couple more laps for him to\ntake the lead and he maintained his lead all the way to the finish securing his\n2nd victory of the season in 7 races. \n\n \n\nIn Round 8, Brooks was able\nto lock down the 3rd fastest qualifying time, which placed him in\nthe 3rd row for the start of the Main.
