In 1996, that company was acquired by Intel, where she was Director of Worldwide Press Relations for the Computing Enhancement Group. She left Intel to found Stealthmode in 1999, and has been heavily involved in Arizona's emergence as a technology hub.She also founded the Opportunity Through Entrepreneurship Foundation (OTEF), which provides entrepreneurship skills and resiliency training to underserved populations. From 2000-2008, OTEF presented the Arizona Entrepreneurship Conferences, statewide events to bring the tech community together and bring others from outside to see what was happening in Arizona.As a civic entrepreneur. Hardaway was also founding member of Social Media Club, AzTechCouncil, Greater Arizona E-Learning Association, and Startup Digest. She has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Digital Media Entrepreneurship at Arizona State University and a mentor to several of the university's entrepreneurship programs.A prolific writer, she has written about technology entrepreneurship and health care for Huffpo, Fast Company, Business Insider, and Phoenix Business Journal.
