WGI Heavy Minerals Terminates CEO

COEUR D'ALENE, ID, April 19 /CNW/ - WGI Heavy Minerals, Incorporated
(TSX:WG) announced today that its Board of Directors has terminated the
employment of the company's President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Lindsay
Gorrill. The Board is not satisfied with the recent activities of the company,
including in particular its business in India and has asked the Chairman, Mr.
Covell Brown, to step in to guide the management team for an interim period.
WGI Heavy Minerals, Incorporated is a fully integrated miner, producer,
and marketer of industrial-grade minerals. The Company's operations include
mining and processing facilities in Idaho, U.S. and Tamil Nadu and Andhra
Pradesh, India.
