Nichols plc, the diversified soft drinks Group, announces that David Taylor will rejoin the Company with effect from 3 February 2025 to support Richard Newman, Chief Financial Officer, who will be undertaking treatment for cancer. David joins as a non-Board finance director, and Richard will remain in his role and on the Board of Directors throughout this period.

David was Nichols' Interim CFO between June 2023 and March 2024, prior to Richard's appointment, during which time he developed a detailed understanding of the Group. Andrew Milne, Chief Executive Officer of Nichols, commented:

"On behalf of everyone at Nichols, I want to offer Richard and his family our full support and heartfelt best wishes as he undergoes his treatment. David is an experienced operator who knows the business well, and we welcome him back to the business to support the finance and company secretarial functions during this period."
