[{"type":"text","content":"Nexus Gold Targeting Program Underway at the McKenzie Gold Project, Red Lake, Ontario\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vancouver, Canada -\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n October 5, 2021 - Nexus Gold\nCorp.\n \n \n (“\n \n \n Nexus\n \n \n ” or the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ”)\n(TSXV:NXS\n \n \n ) (\n \n \n OTC:NXXGF\n \n \n ) (\n \n \n FSE:N6E), is\n \n \n pleased\n \n \n to report in an effort to guide upcoming drill plans that it\n \n \n has begun a prospecting and targeting program at\nthe McKenzie Gold Project, located in Red Lake, Ontario, Canada.\n \n \n \n \n The prospecting program is primarily focused on the\nnorthern shores of Perch Lake in the St. Paul’s Bay area of the\n1,400-ha project and is designed to explore and confirm the extension\nof mineralization previously identified by the company in its spring\n2021 diamond drill program.\n \n \n \n \n The current program has already generated positive\nresults with the prospecting team identifying mineralization in two\npreviously unknown trenches (see Map 1).  Mineralization within these\ntrenches consists of quartz veins containing clots and patches of semi\nmassive Chalopyrite, Pyrite and Molybdenite.  The veins are hosted in\ngranite which displays strong pervasive silica flooding.  Local\ndiscrete shearing in both trenches trend at approximate attitudes of\n330\n \n \n °\n \n \n and dip\n70\n \n \n °\n \n \n to 80\n \n \n °\n \n \n to the east, displaying similar\ntrends as were observed in the spring drilling campaign.  The\ntrenches are located on the northern shore of the Perch Lake and\nextend the known mineralization some 400 meters to the north and\nnorth-west.\n \n \n \n \n “This is a terrific start to our program as this\nnewly identified mineralization will greatly aid us in designing our\nupcoming drill programs,” said VP Exploration, Warren Robb.  “It\nappears that the mineralization identified in our drilling to date is\ntrending north-northwest and our prospecting efforts have now doubled\nthe length of this mineralization to over 800 meters along strike,”\ncontinued Mr. Robb.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Click Image To View Full Size\n \n \n \n \n Samples from this program have been forwarded to the\nlab for ana...
