[{"type":"text","content":"Nexus Gold Completes Reconaissance Program at the Manzour-Dayere Gold Project, Burkina Faso, West Africa\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Vancouver, Canada\n-\n \n \n TheNewswire\n \n \n – June 25, 2021\n \n \n - Nexus Gold Corp.\n(“\n \n \n Nexus\n \n \n ” or the “\n \n \n Company\n \n \n ”) (TSXV:NXS\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:NXXGF\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n FSE:N6E)\n \n \n is\npleased to\n \n \n report that it has completed its\nground reconnaissance program over its 100% owned,\n \n \n 190.53 sq-km (19,053-hectare), Manzour-Dayere gold\nexploration permit located on the Boromo Greenstone belt, 325 km\nsouthwest of the capital city of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, West\nAfrica.\n \n \n \n \n Members of the Company’s geological team conducted a\nseries of geological mapping and prospecting exercises over various\nareas of the concession.  The property is underlain by a wedge of\nvolcano-sedimentary rocks which hosts numerous artisanal workings.\n Local artisanal miners are extracting material from quartz veins\noccurring in the volcano sedimentary package.  The wedge is\ncompletely surrounded by felsic intrusive rocks.\n \n \n \n \n A large alluvial mining camp is located near the\nnortheast corner of the property.  Nexus geologists viewed several\nareas in these workings where coarse free gold was being extracted.\n The alluvial workings are 500 meters downstream from the\nManzour-Dayere property suggesting that the property may have\ncontributed to gold deposition there.  In total the geological team\ntraversed over 250 kilometers of roads and trails, collecting multiple\nsamples from several areas of interest.  Sample results will be\nreleased once received, reviewed, and verified.\n \n \n \n \n Previous operators on the property identified nine\nstructures through an airborne magnetics survey.  These structures\nreceived little to no follow up work.  Data accumulated by the team\nfrom this program is currently being reviewed and once completed the\nscope and nature of follow up exploration plans will be determined.\n \n \n \n \n Follow up programs will look to expand the gold\nmineralization that has already been identified in the Northeast\ncorner of the property and returned results of\n \...
