Growth Puts Next Fifteen Businesses in Pole Position in Silicon Valley
October 14, 2004 - Next Fifteen Communications Group plc (NFC.L) has announced
that its PR businesses around the world have added a significant number of new
clients in the last quarter. Wins by August. One in the UK include Olympus,
Mothercare and DNA Interactive, while wins by Bite Communications' US business
include software giants Autodesk (NASDAQ:ADSK) and Siebel Systems (NASDAQ:SEBL).
Lastly, the Group's largest business, Text 100, has added the technology
research and analyst firm Gartner and EDA leader, Cadence Design Systems
(NYSE:CDN) - both accounts are US-based. Combined these clients will account for
over £2m in new fee income for the Group per year.
"We have seen a significant improvement in market conditions, most notably in
the US," said Next Fifteen CEO Tim Dyson. "We are seeing a general strengthening
of the PR industry. Client spending is largely up on previous years both in
terms of retained activity and for product launches. This gives us good reason
to be optimistic about the Group's prospects in the coming year."
The growth of Next Fifteen's businesses in the last six months now makes it one
of, if not the largest employer of technology PR professionals in the Silicon
Valley area. Between its PR businesses, Text 100 and Bite, the Group now
represents such technology leaders as IBM (NYSE: IBM), Xerox (NYSE: XEROX), NEC,
ViewSonic, Earthlink (NASDAQ:ELNK), Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT), Juniper
Networks (NASDAQ:JNPR), BEA (NASDAQ:BEAS), VeriSign (NASDAQ:VRSN), Siebel
Systems, Autodesk and Sun Microsystems (NASDAQ: SUNW).
Next Fifteen will report its preliminary results for the year on October 14th.
