(\"NEXE\" or the \"Company\")\n \n , a leader in plant-based materials science and advanced manufacturing technologies, is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a\n \n $1,000,000\n \n grant from the Government of\n \n Canada\n \n (\"GOC\") to support the commercialization of its NEXE\n \n Nespresso\n \n -Compatible Pods. The award is part of Phase 2 of the GOC's\n \n \n \n \n Plastics Challenge: Improved Compostability of Bioplastics\n \n \n (\"Bioplastics Challenge\"). This follows a\n \n $150,000\n \n grant that NEXE received in 2019 during Phase 1 of the program to support prototype development.
