Pratt, Jr.,\nSchool of Engineering, has been appointed to the Company's Board of Directors,\neffective immediately.\nJohnson has been with Duke University since 1999. As dean of the Pratt\nSchool of Engineering, she oversees more than 1100 undergraduates, 440\ngraduate students and 120 tenure track and non-tenure track faculty. She\njoined Duke from the University of Colorado, where she served as a professor\nof Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1985-1999.\nJohnson has helped start several companies including ColorLink, Inc., and\nsits on several corporate Board of Directors including Mineral Technologies\nInc., Boston Scientific Corporation, and AES Corporation. She also currently\nserves on the advisory boards of the Colorado School of Mines, the Georgia\nInstitute of Technology School of Engineering, the Duke Childrens' Classic,\nand the Institute for Emerging Issues.\nJohnson received her B.S., M.S. (with distinction) and Ph.D. in\nelectrical engineering from Stanford University. She completed a NATO\npost-doctoral fellowship at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, and was a\nFulbright Fellow in 1991.
