[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nCDMA2000 1X to Deliver High Quality Voice Services to Subscribers\n\nFLORIAN¿POLIS, BRAZIL, Oct. 4 /CNW/ - Embratel, Brazil's main long\ndistance service provider and a subsidiary of Telmex group, has selected\nNortel(x) (NYSE/TSX: NT) to upgrade its fixed wireless network to deliver high\nquality voice service to approximately one million subscribers.\nThe CDMA2000(x) 1X network expansion will help increase network capacity\nand coverage to accommodate more voice subscribers and enable superior voice\nquality for their wireless local loop service known as Livre.
