Launched\nNovember 1st, its Videotalk solution allows users to make voice and video\ncalls directly from their computer using a webcam, a Belgacom Internet line\nand the company's I-Talk service. The solution was built using CounterPath's\nsoftphone technology, which enables VoIP voice and video calling, IM (Instant\nMessaging) and presence management in an easy to use and versatile desktop\ncommunications application.\n\n\n"Videotelephony is a key component of CounterPath's unified\ncommunications offerings for both desktop and mobile environments, and this\nproduct launch is another example of European market acceptance for VoIP and\nvideo over IP technologies," said Donovan Jones, President and CEO of\nCounterPath.
