(TSX:LUX) announced\ntoday that its Aktelux subsidiary has been selected by Oerlikon Contraves\n(Canada) Inc. to supply 10.4\" LCD display systems for their Advanced\nReconnaissance and Remotely Operated Weapon System (ARROWS) program. Oerlikon\nContraves is a leading systems integrator based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu,\nQuebec.\nThe custom designed display, which is destined for use in a Multi-Purpose\nProtected Vehicle manufactured by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) for the Belgian\nDefence forces will take advantage of the significant expertise Luxell has\ndeveloped in display technologies.\nThis order is for an initial quantity of 212 display systems, valued in\nexcess of CAD $1M, and includes an option clause for an additional 112\nsystems.\nThis contract is in addition to other Oerlikon contracts previously\nreceived for various tablet computer display systems and ruggedized terminal\ndisplays installed in man-machine interface systems for in-vehicle and remote\noperation applications.\nJohn Wright, Luxell's CEO, said that \"This is our 6th Oerlikon contract\nin 18 months and represents the kind of specialized business in which Luxell's\nAktelux design and production team have come to excel.
