(TSX:LUX), a leading\nprovider of electronic displays to the defense and aerospace industries,\nannounced today that it received a repeat order for its 3ATI display unit from\na defense industry client valued at approximately $160,000 (US).\n\n\nLuxell's 3ATI unit is a rugged, high performance thin film electro\nluminescent (TFEL) display specifically designed to operate in the most\nchallenging flight deck environments, including military jets as well as on\nrotary-wing aircrafts such as the Super Puma, Lynx and the CH-47 Chinook.\n\n\n"This repeat customer order is important on many levels," said Jean-Louis\n Larmor, President and CEO of Luxell Inc. "It further demonstrates Luxell's\nproduct quality and technology expertise as well as validating the ongoing\ncustomer support and services components of our long-term business plan."\n\n\nDelivers control displays to Japan\n\n\nLuxell also announced that it has reached a payment milestone valued at\napproximately $200,000 US by completing the delivery of 13 control display\nunits for use on use on the CH-47 Chinook rotary wing aircraft of the Japan\nAir Self-Defense Force.\n\n\nThe units, which use Luxell's TFEL technology, combine keyboard and\ndisplay controls and are perfectly adapted for the harsh environment of a\nmilitary helicopter.
