Luxell awarded contract from Oerlikon for development of displays for Netherlands FGBADS program

TORONTO, April 14 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX:LUX) announced
today that the Company has been awarded a contract from Oerlikon Contraves
(Canada) Inc. of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec for the development of
display systems for tablet computers. This innovative product will be used by
the Royal Netherlands Army in the Weapons Terminal as part of the Future
Ground Based Air Defence System (FGBADS) program for Stinger missiles. The
initial development contract is valued at CAD $45K (US $36K), with delivery of
prototype and pre-production units in the May-June 2005 timeframe. Oerlikon
has issued a Letter of Intent for a Phase 1 production order valued at
CAD $198K (US $160K), with a Phase II option of equivalent value.
Louis Joubert, Luxell's Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of
its Aktelux business unit, commented, "While of modest contract value, this
award is of great significance, both in adding further to our growing
'C Series' of high performance, land-based displays (as evidenced by previous

Canada, as their preferred source for this class of display."
