Luxell Announces New Contract Award

(TSX:LUX) today\nannounced that it has received a new contract for the development of a number\nof customized LCD flat panel display sets from Symbolic Displays Inc (SDI),\nSanta Ana, California, and an undisclosed end user.\n\n\nThese displays will be based on Luxell's standard ATI product\narchitecture and customized to provide the customer's pilots with improved\nflight situation awareness data. This initial contract for prototypes, has an\napproximate value of US$400,000 and customer acceptance of the Luxell\nprototypes could lead to an order for more than 100 shipsets with a potential\nvalue of $10 million over a three year period. This would also open the door\nfor a further extension of several hundred units.\n\n\nThe SDI contract is the second new contract resulting from Luxell's\nMarketing Partnership with Symbolic Displays.\n\n\nJean Louis Larmor, Luxell's CEO said "We are very encouraged by the new\ncontract win because it serves as a highly credible endorsement by a new\ncustomer from the defense industry of the reliability and performance features\nof our displays.
