[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTORONTO, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies reports on new business and\nproduction activities as well as the consolidation of its Aketelux, Luxell and\nLuxell Research brands into one Luxell brand as part of its continuing\nreorganization program.\n\n\n\"The combination of these brands into one operating name is a logical\nstep in our one brand approach to doing business in the flat panel display\nsector. We see it as enabling us to better leverage and capitalize on the\nsignificant technology and intellectual property the company has built up over\nthe past 13 years,\" said Mr. Couckuyt.\n\n\n\"In order to compete in today's marketplace,\" continued Mr. Couckuyt,\n\"Luxell needs to be focused and flexible. We need\nto be able to cross-reference the range of our technological know-how and be\nin a position to plan product line expansion and develop next generation\nproducts. The company has also received\nindication of a follow up order.\n\n\nDesigned to be installed below the wing and used in troubleshooting,\nservicing, and maintaining the aircraft, the MDPD is a ruggedized 1/4 Video\nGraphics Array flat panel display with keypad and features a 5\" diagonal\nsunlight readable display.\n\n\nDelivery of the existing order is on-going while new order shipments will\nbe completed over the next 18 months. The additional quantity and follow-on\norder value is expected to be in excess of 1.1 million dollars.\n\n\nDeliveries have also begun on the Multi-Function Displays (MFD) for\nRheinmetall Defence Electronics (Bremen, Germany) and to be used in the\nLoadmaster Control System of the Airbus A400M. The A400M is the next\ngeneration military ...
