(TSX:LUX) today\nannounced the election of Anthony DeCristofaro, David Pasieka, John MacDonald,\nDr. Robert Bajcar and Giulio Vitali to its board of directors at the\nCorporation's Annual General Meeting held in Toronto on June 4th. In addition,\nChristopher Carl and Max Rutherford, were newly elected.\n\n\nChristopher Carl has over 20 years experience in project financing, plant\nconstruction and management with a focus on commercializing new technologies.\nCurrently, Mr. Carl is President of Bio-Extraction Ltd. which is working with\npatented technology to become the world's low-cost provider of active\ningredients from plant materials for use in the global pharmaceutical and\nnutraceutical industries. Prior to BioExx, Mr. Carl spent 11 years as CEO of\nThe CanFibre Group Ltd., and successfully raised US$250 million to construct\nand operate two Medium Density Fibreboard facilities in North America. He also\nspent several years with Tenneco Inc., where he was responsible for finance\nand administration in the Americas, Europe and Asia.\n\n\nMax Rutherford brings his more than 30 years of experience in the\naviation industry to Luxell's Board of Directors and management. He has held\nCEO and senior management positions in a number of aviation companies with\nsales ranging from $2 million to $500 million and has been instrumental in\ncreating profitable, high growth organizations in international markets. Mr.\nRutherford is currently CEO of an Ottawa-based supplier of integrated air\nnavigation systems and has a record of managing successful international\nacquisitions and strategic partnerships.\n\n\n"As Luxell continues to evolve through restructuring into its growth\nphase," said Luxell CEO, David Pasieka, "the experience that Chris has in\npublic market financing and that Max has in the aviation industry will provide\nvaluable added depth to our Board.
