Luxell Announces Dates of Special Meeting of Shareholders and its Annual General meeting

(TSX:LUX) today\nannounced that its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders will be held on May\n20, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at its offices in Mississauga, Ontario.\n\n\nIn addition, Luxell announced that it will also be holding a Special\nMeeting of Shareholders on April 20, 2009. The purpose of the Special Meeting\nwill be to ask shareholders of Luxell to approve a proposed going-private\ntransaction by way of an amalgamation of Luxell and Lux Acquisition\nCorporation ("LAC"). It is anticipated that proxy and information material\nwill be mailed to shareholders of record on March 20, 2009, on or about March\n30, 2009.
