(TSX:LUX), a leading\nprovider of ruggedized flat panel display systems and solutions in the global\navionics and defense sectors, announced today that it has accepted the\nresignation of Alec Couckuyt, as the Company's CEO and from its Board of\nDirectors.\n\n\nAt the same time, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce the\nappointment of David Pasieka as interim CEO. David will be at the helm while\nLuxell searches for a permanent CEO.\n\n\nDavid has more than 26 years of global experience with many of Canada's\nleading technology companies, including Bell Canada, CNCP Telecommunications,\nUnitel, MetroNet Communications, AT&T Canada, 724 Solutions, Oasis Technology\nand eFunds International. He has recently been consulting with early stage\ntechnology companies in turn-around or growth situations. David has also been\na member of the Luxell Board of Directors since late 2005 and chaired a number\nof the Board's sub-committees in 2006. David has a mandate to move the Company\ninto the growth phase of the restructuring process.
