[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n \n \n13 May 2025\nNEWBURY RACECOURSE PLC\n(the \"Racecourse\" or the \"Company\")\n \nBoard changes\n \nNewbury Racecourse PLC, the racing, entertainment and events business, announces that John Dodds (a Non-Executive Director of the Company) has informed the Board that he intends to step down as a Director of the Company following completion of the Company's Annual General Meeting (\"AGM\"), which is being held on 10 June 2025. John has served on the board since 2010. Following John's departure from the board Bryan Burrough will assume the role of the Company's Senior Independent Director. At the same time, the Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Juliet Slot as a Non-Executive Director, effective following the Company's AGM.\n \nJuliet is currently Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal Football Club. She has held this position for over 3 years and previously held similar commercial and sales positions at Ascot Racecourse and Fulham Football Club, as well as other high profile non-executive and advisory roles. She brings extensive commercial, racing and partnerships experience to the Company's Board. \n \n \nDominic Burke, Chairman of Newbury Racecourse plc commented:\n \n\"John provided hugely valuable insight and service to Newbury Racecourse during the redevelopment program, so it is with great sadness that he will be stepping down at the next AGM.
