(\"PFN\") (TSXV: PFN OTCQB: PAWEF FSE: P7J) is very pleased to announce new results from the recently completed drill program on its 100% owned River Valley Platinum Group Metal (PGM) project near Sudbury, Ontario. The drill program successfully expanded mineralization down-dip and along strike of the 2015 intersections at Target T2 (see PFN press release dated March 11, 2016) and corroborated the geological model. The drill results reported herein confirm the discovery of a new PGM mineralized zone at River Valley, hereafter named the Pine Zone (Figure 1). \n\n\n \nThe Pine Zone drill program consisted of five holes for 1367 metres, of which four intersected significant PGM mineralization. A total of 603 split samples were submitted to SGS Canada Inc. Laboratories for assay analyses. The significant new drill assay results include 2.57 g/t Pd+Pt over 18 metres from 169 metres in hole DN-T2-06, 1.92 g/t Pd+Pt over 20 metres from 202 metres in hole DN-T2-10, and 1.84 g/t Pd+Pt over 17 metres from 217 metres in hole DN-T2-11. These results demonstrate the potential for significant new near-surface mineralized zones at the north end of the River Valley Project.
