(\"Pilot \nGold\") (TSX: PLG) has reported results from an initial metallurgical program \ndesigned to address the amenability of high-grade mineralization from the Secret \nCanyon host rock to produce a high-grade concentrate at the Kinsley Mountain \nproject (\"Kinsley Mountain\", or the \"Property\"). Kinsley Mountain is a joint \nventure between Pilot Gold and Nevada Sunrise. Pilot Gold holds a 79.1 per cent \ninterest in Kinsley Mountain, and Nevada Sunrise, through a wholly-owned U.S. \nsubsidiary, holds a 20.9 per cent interest.\nPilot Gold reports that the initial metallurgical test results \ndemonstrate that high-grade sulphide mineralization from the Western Flank zone \ncan produce a high-grade concentrate with excellent gold recoveries, at \npotentially low capital and operating costs.\nSummary Highlights: \n\n \n \n   \n Overall Au \n Concentrate \n Flotation Recovery \n Calculated Feed \n \n Composite \n \n Recovery1 (%) \n Grade (g/t) \n (%) \n Grade (g/t) \n \n KMMC-1 \n 89.0 \n \n 98.6 \n \n 87.9 \n \n 4.23 \n \n \n KMMC-2 \n 95.0 \n \n 312.0 \n 82.2 \n \n 20.3 \n \n \n KMMC-3 \n 93.2 \n \n 152.0 \n 89.6 \n \n 8.42 \n \n \n KMMC-4 \n 93.8 \n \n 199.0 \n 76.0 \n \n 11.4 \n \n \n1 Overall recovery is the total of the gold recovered into \nflotation concentrate plus gold leached from the final tails \nAt Kinsley Mountain, initial geochemical analyses of \nmineralized intercepts, including characterization of carbon and sulfur, ICP \nanalysis and determination of the solubility of gold in cyanide demonstrated \nthat the concentration of gold relative to sulfur is high relative to other \nsediment-hosted, Carlin-style gold deposits. As well, petrographic work showed \nthat pyrite, within which the gold is believed to be resident, is relatively \ncrystalline, dense (non-porous) and that there is a very small quantity of \nsulfides that are <20 microns. These data and observations demonstrate \npotential for producing a high-grade flotation concentrate, which could then be \nevaluated for direct sale to commercial smelters or potentially to any one of...
