(OTCQB: NTRR) and joint venture partner Oceanview Health \n Services Ltd. are preparing to promote and market a new line of \n cannabis-infused topical products, and the latest data shows that they \n could soon receive a warm welcome in the nation’s newest medical \n cannabis state.\n \n \n The Associated \n Press reports that infused products and concentrates such as \n topicals accounted for 11 \n percent of sales in Illinois’ dispensaries last month. That number \n is being called a solid start by industry watchers, and likely the \n beginning of much more to follow. In Washington State, topicals and \n other infused products accounted for a quarter of total cannabis sales \n in the third quarter of 2015, according to a report by research firm BDS \n Analytics.\n \n \n “The first dispensaries in the state opened last November, but only a \n very small number of cannabis cultivators in Illinois are currently \n making infused products,” said NTRR CEO Chris Brown. “We see that as a \n major opportunity. As patients become better exposed and more familiar \n with topicals, we’re confident that they will begin to command an even \n higher share of total sales there.”\n \n \n Last month, NTRR partner Oceanview Health Services Ltd. revealed the \n debut products that will comprise its innovative BeKind Topicals line \n set to hit dispensary shelves this year. The initial lineup will include \n a pain cream and a topical spray, both infused with different cannabis \n strains. The new products will be intended for the treatment of \n arthritis, muscle soreness, nerve pain and other health issues in a \n discrete and reliable manner.
