Although Price had a 50 year career that spanned radio, stage, television and film in a wide variety of roles, his legacy was sealed through leading roles in landmark horror films, beginning in the 1950's and continuing for the next 30 years to the end of his illustrious and unparalleled career. Known affectionately as the King of Horror, Price's impact on horror cinema was so profound that his name has literally become synonymous with the genre.
