[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 2807P Netcall PLC 23 March 2009 \n \nNETCALL PLC\n('Netcall' or 'the Company')\n\nAppointment of non-executive Chairman\n\n23 March 2009 - The Board of Netcall plc (AIM:NET), a leading provider of callback, auto-messaging and contact solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Edward Wilson Jackson as non-executive Chairman of Netcall, with immediate effect.\n\nAs such, and further to the announcement dated 29 January 2009, Roger Allsop shall step down as non-executive Chairman and be reinstated as non-executive director of Netcall.\n \nMichael Jackson, 58, founded Elderstreet Investments Limited in 1990 and is its Executive Chairman. For the past 25 years, he has specialised in raising finance and investing in the smaller companies quoted and unquoted sector. Michael has been Chairman of two FTSE 100 companies including PartyGaming plc and from 1997 until August 2006 was Chairman of The Sage Group plc. \n\nHe is also a director of and investor in many other quoted and unquoted companies, including Elderstreet portfolio companies; Snacktime plc and Kellan Group plc. Michael studied law at Cambridge University, and qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand before spending five years in marketing for various US multinational technology companies.\n\nHenrik Bang, CEO of Netcall, and Roger Allsop said 'We are delighted to welcome Michael as non-executive Chairman of Netcall.
