[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n \n31 August 2023\n \nEcho Energy plc\n(\"Echo\" or the \"Company\")\n \nUpdate re: Publication of 2022 Annual Report & Accounts\n \nEcho Energy plc, the Latin American focused upstream energy company, provides the following update in relation to its Annual Report and Financial Statements for its financial year ended 31 December 2022 (the \"2022 Annual Report\").\n \nFurther to the announcement made on 31 July, the Company's audit process remains ongoing albeit is now very close to concluding. Accordingly the Directors now anticipate that the Company will be in a position to publish the 2022 Annual Report before or by mid-September. The Directors also confirm their expectation of publishing the interim results to 30 June 2023 during the course of September in the normal course.\n \nTrading in the Company's ordinary shares on AIM will continue to be suspended pending publication of the 2022 Annual Report.\n \nSuspension from trading will be lifted with the publication of the 2022 Annual Report in due course.
