[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 1256P Independent Resources PLC 09 July 2010 \n \n\nIndependent Resources plc\n(the 'Company')\n \nResult of General Meeting \nThe Placing \nDirectors' Dealings & Holdings in Company \nTotal Voting Rights \n \nResult of General Meeting \n \nThe Company is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions proposed at the Company's general meeting held today were duly passed.\n \nThe Placing \n \nPursuant to the announcement made by the Company on 23 June 2010, 4,263,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company (\"Placing Shares\") have been placed with institutional and other investors at a price of 60 pence per ordinary share (the \"Placing\"). The net proceeds of the Placing will be utilised by the Company in the development of its various business interests and for general working capital purposes. \n \n \nApplication has been made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that dealings in the Placing Shares will commence on 12 July 2010 (the 'Admission').
