He succeeds Lynne Peacock who retired from the Board of the Society at the end of 2019.\n \nKevin has been a Non-executive Director of the Society since May 2016 and will remain as Chair of the Society's Audit Committee and a member of the Board Risk and Nomination and Governance Committees.\n \nDavid Roberts, Chairman of the Society, said: \"Kevin's wealth of experience, expertise and knowledge is invaluable to the Society and its Board. He has been on the Nationwide board for almost four years bringing to the Board, expertise in audit, regulation, risk management and finance. Kevin is Chairman of Royal London Group and a Non-executive Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of Daily Mail and General Trust plc.
