TORONTO, June 29 /CNW/ - Cencotech Inc. (CTZ - TSX-V) today reports the results of operations for the first six months of fiscal 2005 ended April 30th. All amounts referenced herein are in Canadian dollars. Revenue for the first six months of fiscal 2005 was $1,046,942 as compared to $674,437 for the same period last year. The Company recorded net income of $180,547 or $0.01 per share as compared to a loss of $651,005 or ($0.04) per share in the same period last year. The developing sales and marketing alliances with others in the large volume currency handling market are beginning to gain traction. Operating costs are well contained and as these new alliances begin to grow the Company believes that sustainable profitability is achievable. This in turn will provide the foundation upon which a realistic restructuring of the Company's debt can take place. Following the April 30th reporting period, the Company received orders for twenty units of its "CashNet" system for delivery in the third quarter. Further, the Company's alliance partners are conducting tests at a number of large clients and anticipate these clients will adopt the system in significant quantities. Cencotech Inc. was created to acquire and manage emerging high technology enterprises with sound business solutions for their customers.
